Start solids with confidence. Prevent picky eating before it starts.

Raise an adventurous eater—one joyful bite at a time.

Starting solids shouldn’t feel this stressful.

You’ve read the blogs. You’ve asked your pediatrician. You’ve fallen down more Instagram rabbit holes than you’d like to admit.

And yet, you’re still wondering:

When do I actually start?

What foods are safe?

What if my baby chokes—or just refuses to eat?

What if picky eating just runs in our family?

Feeding your baby can feel joyful and easy. But without the right guidance, it can feel like pressure. A guessing game. A tightrope walk between doing too much and not enough. Like maybe you want to just wait until they’re older, and not worry about it for a while.

Stop wondering what's next

But here’s what no one tells you:

Your baby’s first experiences with food shape their relationship with eating for years to come.

  • Food preferences? They’re forming right now.

  • Mealtime stress? Babies feel it and it changes how they eat.

  • Curious, confident eaters? They’re grown through everyday choices, not just “kid-friendly” recipes.

This isn’t about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about knowing how to support your baby’s autonomy, trust your instincts, and create calm, confident mealtimes from day one.

That’s why I created the First Bites Workshop.

This workshop gives you 3 research-backed, judgment-free principles you can live by when starting solids. So you can feed your baby in a way that’s simple, nourishing, and stress-free.

In this workshop, I am going to be teaching you the three core principles that help raise adventurous eaters:

Autonomy is Healthy
Why letting your baby explore food on their own terms builds trust and reduces power struggles later.

Your Baby is Sweet Enough Without Sugar
Why can you confidently say no to added sugar without feeling restrictive or overwhelmed.

Variety is the Spice of Life
Why you get to  introduce diverse foods and textures so your baby learns to love real food.

And most importantly?

You’ll stop second-guessing every bite and start enjoying the moment.

This is exactly what I need

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Caroline Hundley, founder of Chick & Sprout, mom to Russell, and the creator of the Adventurous Eater framework.

After a decade of working with kids, parents, and educators, I realized something powerful: it’s easier to build a healthy relationship with food from the beginning than it is to fix it later.

I used to coach high schoolers who were terrified of broccoli. Now, I help families grow curious, confident eaters…without the overwhelm, from day one.

This workshop is the workshop I wish all parents had who wish to prevent picky eating for a lifetime.
